Reach for the stars.

In one of your days, have you ever looked up at the sky? If you haven't, maybe you should. Then, you'll see how far the sky actually is. So further away. So unreachable.

I once was told that the sky reflects the blue colour of the sea. Or does the sea actually reflects the colour of the sky? I'm not sure. Either way, one would reflect the other. [ Maybe I'll do a research on it one day. ;) ]

But if you scoop some seawater out, even a 5 year old would say that it's transparent. Colourless. Then how come the sky reflects its colour when it doesn't have one, right?

On the other hand, we know for a fact that beyond the skies are great galacsies and huge stars that shine continuosly. How come we can't see them on daytime? Why do we only see them at night?

Easy. Because there aren't any sun at night. ;)

The sky can't reflect the colour of the sea when there's no light. Then would we be able to enjoy the beautiful scene of some scattered stars and one bright shining moon.

Maybe you're starting to wonder,
"Hey, where is this going?"

Relax. Feel the comfort of your chair. This is going to end soon.

A lovable teacher of me once said,
"Sasar tinggi-tinggi, jangan takut dan sasar rendah sebab tak percayakan diri sendiri."

I know. Clise right? Typical. Stereotype. She's just saying those words to make you feel better.

No. She doesn't. She really mean it. And for somewhat reason, I believe her.

"Macam tupai. Dia akan sasar tinggi-tinggi ke atas pokok. Nanti, kalaupun dia jatuh, dia takkan jatuh jauh dari sasaran dia."

Okay, maybe occasionally the squirrel might have slipped and fall further down to the ground. It will even be hit hard on the head too by any unnoticable branches. But it doesn't mean that the squirrel can't climb back up again.

So, reach for the stars. I know it's too far. But it's worth trying right? Go for your dreams. Maybe you'll fall like the squirrel. But hey, there's a reason they say 'Even if you fall, get back on the horse.' (Falling from a horse is VERY painful. Really.)

Don't be afraid. If not now, then when? You're not a squirrel. You can do better than it. :)
