Allah will never forsake His slave who turns to Him in repentance

Have you ever felt so lost from the right path, that you feel so empty inside.. Such  a deep hole inside, that sometimes, you feel like you're drowning in the sea. Such dead silence. Such darkness. You reach out your hand, but there's no one there to grab it. You see a glimpse of light, but it's so far away.. So far away..

Or you're deep in the forest, astray from the straight path. So lost.. So alone.. With no idea how to get back or how to keep going on. You want to get to the right path so badly, but you keep finding the wrong ways. Deliberately maybe? You can't keep your head together to achieve it and keep making mistakes. Where is the right path? You can see it, but you can't get there. It seems so far away.. So far away..

Recently, I read a book : I want to repent, but...

Took me awhile to finish it even though it's not that thick. It's just 66 pages long. But it's a really wonderful book(Thank you Dahiyah~)

For those of you who feel lost, you want to repent, but there's a lot on your mind, you should get your hands on this book. It will help clear your head a little bit. C=

It even includes some important fatawa about repentance. I like how the author shares stories related to the subject. Out of all, there is one in particular, my favourite one that I will share with you. I take no credit from it. It belongs to the author : Muhammad Salih al-Munajjid.

It's about a boy that is cared and loved so much by his father. But one day he is captured by an enemy while he was running an errand. However, on the day of his execution, he managed to run away to his home and back to his father's arms. But the enemy caught up with him and tried to snatch him from his father's arms.

Do you think the father will let them take his child? He will even risk his own life to protect his child.

In comparison, what then do you think of Allah, the One more merciful towards His slaves more than any father or mother in this world, or any other world? How do you think Allah will respond, when His slave flees from his enemies(past sins, people involved with the sins) and begs for Allah's refuge?

Take a step one foot at a time, as long as it is moving forward. I'm on my way myself. Sometimes backwards too. But keep on trying, as Allah will always be there with you all the way. All the way. =)
