If Allah swt knows, then that is all that matters.

Usually, our ego will not let us feel defeated. In any case, we should be the victim.

Always an excuse, always a reason.

But sometimes, even when we are truly in the right, but the other person can't see it, our ego shouts to defend ourselves. 

"You never heard my side of the story..."
"You never even begin to understand how I feel.."
"You never asked why I did it.."

To turn the table, to blame the other. To explain ourselves, to be justified.

Those who hide the real reason for why they did what they did, when it is for the benefits of the other, suffers alone when blamed. 

If you are truly sincere, it doesn't matter if they don't know. If Allah knows your real intention, your nawaitu, then that is ALL that matters.

Allah will reward you. 

Because humans tend to forget when we do good. It is Allah who ALWAYS remembers. 

It is very hard to be really sincere, yes. It hurts to not be able to defend ourselves. To be blamed as the jerk. 

But Allah will remember, and that is ALL that matters.
